Larson’s Miami Vice: Wins 2 of 3 Events

​The NASCAR weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway delivered thrilling races across all three national series, with standout performances and dramatic finishes captivating fans.​

NASCAR Cup Series: Straight Talk Wireless 400

On Sunday, Kyle Larson secured his 30th career NASCAR Cup Series victory in the Straight Talk Wireless 400. Larson overtook his Hendrick Motorsports teammate, Alex Bowman, with seven laps remaining after Bowman made contact with the wall, allowing Larson to seize the lead and ultimately win by 1.205 seconds. This marked Larson’s first Cup Series win of the 2025 season. ​

Bowman, who started from the pole position, led 43 laps but settled for a runner-up finish. Bubba Wallace achieved a season-best third place, followed by Chase Briscoe and Denny Hamlin rounding out the top five. Notably, Ryan Blaney led a race-high 124 laps and won the first stage but suffered an engine failure on lap 207, ending his day prematurely.

NASCAR Xfinity Series: Hard Rock Bet 300

Saturday’s Hard Rock Bet 300 saw Justin Allgaier claim his second consecutive Xfinity Series victory. In an overtime finish, Allgaier passed Austin Hill on the final lap to secure the win and the $100,000 Dash 4 Cash bonus. Sam Mayer finished second, with Hill settling for third. Kyle Larson, who led a dominant 132 laps and won the second stage, fell back to fourth during the final restart, ending his bid for a weekend sweep.

NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series: Baptist Health 200

On Friday, Kyle Larson showcased his versatility by winning the Baptist Health 200 in the Truck Series. Driving for Spire Motorsports, Larson overcame a late-race spin and charged through the field, gaining 22 positions in the final 38 laps to capture his fourth career Truck Series victory. Layne Riggs finished second, while Corey Heim, who led a race-high 78 laps and won both stages, experienced late-race power issues and finished third.

Overall, the Homestead-Miami weekend highlighted Kyle Larson’s exceptional talent across multiple series and featured intense competition, setting the stage for an exciting NASCAR season ahead.
